The Proxes RA-1 is a street-legal race tyre designed specifically for club motor sport use. The tread compound used on the Proxes RA-1 warms to optimum temperature quickly. For this reason the Proxes RA-1 is best suited to short distance events such lap-dashes and hill-climbs, wet tracks and light-weight vehicles.The fast-warming tread compound of the Proxes RA-1 also makes this product highly effective for drag racing classes where street-legal tyres are mandatory. The Proxes RA1 has the same construction & tread compound as the Nitto NT555R Extreme Drag Radial.
